Accompanying textWhen Kaua'i artist Sally French inherited an interest in her family's California farm, the disorder caused by the legacy induced her to paint "Introducing Ruddy Spuddy", a tribute to her late mother. The nude angel, as her mother and herself, darts through the kitchen pushing Ruddy Spuddy around in a shopping cart. The potato man represents the brand name of small red potatoes grown on the farm. The disruption affects everyone in French's family as her husband, children, and pets adjust to the changes.
