Accompanying textExpressions on Another's Form is a collaborative artwork between Daven Hee and Joy Sanchez. Hee threw and shaped the vessel, which was then bisque-fired, and Sanchez painted the glaze designs and applied the gold finish. Through their choices in form, color and pattern they create together a lively, unique vessel. Artist and educator Daven Hee received a BFA in ceramics from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in 1999 and an MA in the Visual Arts (MAVA) from the Australian National University of Art & Design in 2004. Joy Sanchez received a BFA in ceramics from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in 2021.
